Podcasting, Video Recording and Editing (Week 6&7)
Task: Create a Podcast and Video
The class was instructed to download audacity and windows movie maker.
Afterwards, we wrote a script that was to be recorded to create our podcast.
I experienced mutiple challenges with this week's tasks. Working from a tablet makes it extremely difficult to get the tasks done effectively. Audacity and Windows Movie Maker could not be downloaded on the tablet.
Therefore I had to resort to searching for various apps or various means of getting the work done.
An app called "Cute Cut" was used to create my video entitled "Barbuda My Love". However, The app does not allow me to share the video via email or google drive. And so i resorted to playing the video on the tablet while recording from my phone so i culd email it.
My phone afterwards said that i could upload anything larger than 20mb.
My podcast had to be recorded on my phone,which I then emailed to myself and shared on google drive.
I still have not been able to upload my video, but will continue to try.
Solution: After factory resetting my phone, i was able to upload the video to my google drive. Here is the link to my video entitled "Barbuda My Love"
These techniques could be utilized in the classroom in the lesson by the teacher and even be taught to students so they have a different and more creative way of completing assignments.
